Barcelona will rest several of their regulars as they have already clinched 1st in their Group. Udinese have struggled to score lately and they will not have Iaquinta in the line-up, who just happens to be their best offensive threat.

A DRAW will see Udinese through to the Champions League Knock-out Stage. I usually dislike this kind of thinking but I really think that Udinese will employ a defensive formation and play for a Draw. With all of Barcelona's top players not in this game, Udinese should be able to achieve the required result, a 0-0 DRAW.

The best line I have found for the DRAW is +165 at Olympic, which is quite low, and Pinnacle have dropped it to +147. I would suggest getting on this as soon as possible since it is sure to drop further. If 3-way betting isn't your thing Pinnacle have Udinese (pk) -118, but don't count on making a profit. The UNDER is probably a good idea too.

I like the under 2.5 here as well as in the Ajax/Arsenal match for the same reasons. Pinnacle now has the Udinese/Barca match at under 2 1/4 +106.

Call me crazy, but resting your regulars doesn't always mean playing for a draw. At least in England with these crazy freakin' million cups matches, this is the only chance a lot of kids get to play at Highbury or Stamford Bridge or any of the real big stadiums. This one being in about as big of a place as you're gonna get could see some kiddies for Barcelona really trying to go all out to impress. Of course I have no idea what Barcelona's backup squad looks like, but if their average age is anywhere near Man U's, I'd be less inclined to believe that a 0-0 or 1-1 draw is inevitable. As in the case of Chelsea yesterday, the comment I made was that their reserves are better than most team's starters, and the case might be made for Barca's kiddies as well. One thing's for certain though... this match WILL be easier to watch than the Chelsea/Liverpool match, even if the score IS 0-0... guaranteed they'll be more than 3 fucking shots on target (all I counted anyway... but I'd like to think I dozed off and missed more than that) and only 2 legit scoring chances, one apiece, and NOTHING in the last 40 minutes of the game....

In fact +185 would be great value, but at +145 don't seems to me a good bet even if the draw is the most probable results; my idea is to wait live betting and LAYING the team scores first gol. It would be also intersestin to see the Barcellona lines (on other side Iaquinta is going to play) because with reserves like messi and Larsson, they can win also with no motivation (imho)

bol with you bets

This is not a case of BARCELONA playing for a draw. I am sure they will not but their reserve players do not have the experience or skill level to WIN in Italy.

Udinese only requies 1 point to advance and I believe they will play a defensive style with the hopes of holding Barcelona's B-Team to a draw. It is UDINESE who will contol the style of play for this game.
